Every December, we challenge our Component Manufacturers and their teams to create a holiday tree that’s designed using MiTek SAPPHIRE Structure, and assembled using MiTek Connector Plates.
With a $250 pizza lunch on the line, our panel of judges carefully select the winner based on the uniqueness of the design, number of connector plates used, quantity of angled cuts in the design and, of course, the level of holiday spirit.
Amidst fierce competitors, and a close vote, we are thrilled to share that the 2019 winning entry was submitted by the design team at Truss Craft of Cheyenne, Wyoming. The tree pays homage to the classic film, “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” featuring not only the beloved Snoopy and his dog house, but even the iconic Charlie Brown Christmas tree.
